Milan Ford has been a leader and survivor of ministry within the local church for most of his life. A lover of Red Vines Licorice and all things pointing North, Milan is the author of 83 Things I Wish The Black Church Would Stop Doing and is set to release his second book, I Still Love Those Fries, the fall of 2011.
A native of Southern California and a Disney Institute alumnus, Milan attended Clark Atlanta University, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Religion. After serving for nearly eight years as the Director of College/Student Ministry at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Milan briefly served as a Unit Marketing Director for Chick-fil-A Restaurants, and afterward became the Director of Marketing and Communications for StreamingFaith.com, one of the largest online Christian communities in the world.
Milan is now the Executive Pastor of Strategic Development for Celebration Church, located in North Austin, Texas, and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree(s) in Organizational Leadership/Strategic Foresight (Regent University) and Biblical Counseling (Dallas Theological Seminary).
