Time To Celebrate!

Today (Monday, June 27th) marks the seven month anniversary since my family and I relocated to the incredible city of Austin, Texas. Seven months exactly to the day. And coincidentally, over the past seven days, something extraordinary has occurred in the life of The Ford family.

The Countdown Begins.

Today is October 10, 2010 (10.10.10) – can’t think of a better day to make this kind of announcement:

On November 27, 2010, the Ford family will be relocating to the beautiful city of Austin, Texas!

Since coming to Atlanta back in 1994 to attend Clark Atlanta University, I have been blessed with a wonderful wife and three incredible children, the opportunity to serve in one of the largest ministries in the world, and the ability to meet and learn from a great community of friends and leaders.

Yet during the spring of 2007, my wife Imani and I began to chart out a new course for our family; one that involved anchoring ourselves within a new environment that embodied the goals, values, and margin for growth that we believe would be necessary for what God has in store for us.
