- Necessary Endings by Dr. Henry Cloud is wrecking me. Completely.
- I always find myself seeking salvation over again around this time. March Madness, you have done it again.
- After reading THIS book to my oldest daughter, I am convinced that Dr. Seuss may have worked in a church at least once or twice in his life.
- Wrote a prayer this week for Sheridan Richards. Many more prayers to come.
- Became somewhat disappointed in a few leaders over the past few days (thanks to a few Twitter searches). It truly only takes 140 characters to reveal your own.
- Hard to believe that THIS was nearly two years ago. I still receive an email about it from time to time.
- Speaking of prayer, there is perhaps no one my wife and I have prayed harder for this year than my friend and brother, Shaun King. He and his wife Rai took an unprecedented stance this week; one that is turning the city of Atlanta upside down.
- “Christ beside me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ within me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me.” – St Patrick (best thing I’ve heard/read all week)
- Woke up today to discover that Japan was just hit with a massive earthquake; one of the largest ever. Have mercy on your people God.
- Decided to do something a little different this year in honor of the Lent Season.
- Our family’s love affair for the city of Austin continues to grow day by day. Thanks in large part to some high flying this past Sunday.
- “Be very careful not to spiritualize your own laziness.” – Pace Hartfield
- Grateful to have ChurchLeaders.com feature an article I wrote. Cool stuff.
- Extremely excited for my friend and brother Scott Williams. He is going to help change what Sunday Mornings will look like for years to come.
- Have a feeling this picture is going to birth yet another book idea out of me very soon.
- Wrote a prayer this week for Latosha Williams. Many more prayers to come.
- SXSW begins today. (Did I already mention that I love this city?)
- Truly convinced nothing can compare to the joy of FINISHING.
- Other than a few auto-tweets from my blog, I must say it’s been quite refreshing to stay off of Twitter for a while. May have to do this more often.
- Thinking of ordering THIS documentary next week. Saw a small portion of it recently and I have a whole new admiration for Pastor Steven Furtick. Take a look at THIS and discover why he is one of my favorite leaders.
- Excited about the opportunity to hang out Louie Giglio and his team at THIS event in April.
- Working on a ‘gathering’ this November here in Austin involving a few of my favorite worship leaders. Fun stuff.
- Been blessed over the past few years to have a number of church planters as friends. Hope they still want to be friends with me after writing THIS.
- My wife posed a great question earlier this week. Still stunned by it.
- Great to have another set of grandparents in town this weekend. The Austin evangelism continues.
